Reading isn’t proof. A quiz or a checklist at the end of a step is how you find out whether it landed.
Add a quiz
- In the step you’re editing, choose Add block → Quiz.
- Write the Question. You can attach images to it if the question needs them.
- Pick an Answer type.
Multiple choice
Add your options and tick every one that’s correct — more than one can be right.
Your staff have to choose the correct answer to move on. A wrong pick tells them right away that it’s wrong, so the quiz teaches instead of just scoring.
Leave every option unticked and nobody can ever pass the question. The editor warns you when that happens.
Written
They type an answer in their own words. Written answers are never auto-graded and never hold anyone up — they finish the handbook, and you score the answers afterwards in the Progress tab. See Track handbook progress.
Add a checklist
Choose Add block → Checklist, then add the items they have to check off. Every item has to be ticked before the block is confirmed.
A checklist isn’t a test — it’s a “I did this, and I’m saying so” for things like an opening routine.
Which to use
- Multiple choice — a fact they must get right before going further.
- Written — something you want to read yourself, like how they’d handle an unhappy customer.
- Checklist — steps they perform rather than know.
