Smart schedule table

ManagerUpdated July 27, 2026

How the weekly table is laid out, and what it shows you while you assign shifts.

The schedule table is where you build the week. Rows are your people, grouped by position; columns are the days.

Assigning a shift

Choose a cell and use Assign Schedule to place a shift. You can add several shifts to the same person on the same day when you need a split.

What the table tells you

  • Availability / Time Off shows next to each person as you work, so you see conflicts before you create them.
  • If you assign over a conflict, TetBee warns you — for example “Availability conflict: user marked as not available.”
  • Notes and custom rows let you keep prep tasks or reminders on the same page as the shifts.

Adjusting the view

Use the cell height controls to fit more of the week on screen, and Clear schedule to empty a person’s row and start over.

Assigning is not publishing. Nothing reaches your team until you publish — see Publish a schedule.
