What is TetBee and how it works

ManagerUpdated July 27, 2026

A quick tour of how a workplace, positions, schedules and your team fit together in TetBee.

TetBee keeps your schedule, your team and your day-to-day messages in one place, so nobody has to ask “am I working Friday?” again.

The pieces

  • Workplace — your business. Everything else lives inside it. You can run more than one.
  • Positions — the roles you schedule by, like Server or Kitchen. Every staff member belongs to at least one.
  • Schedule — the week you build in the table, publish, and adjust as things change.
  • Requests — time off, shift trades and open shifts your team sends you.
  • Chats and announcements — messages that stay attached to the workplace instead of a group text.

How a week usually goes

  1. You collect availability from your team.
  2. You build the week in a draft, where nobody sees it yet.
  3. You publish it, and everyone gets it on their phone.
  4. Staff sign out of their shifts as they finish, recording their actual hours.
  5. You confirm those sign-outs and calculate hours for payroll.

Where you work

Managers usually build schedules on the web at app.tetbee.com. Staff mostly use the mobile app. Both use the same account — see Download the app.
